The 4th Generation

  The PrioComP prototype was developed by alpha 2000 with the GEO Research Centre Potsdam (GfZ). The challenge was to produce a robust, water and dust protected PC that could be used at the most inhospitable places on earth to gather geological information.
The first PCs of 1. Generation which was, because of being equipped with the GfZ own software, known under the name "SeisComP" were delivered in April 2001 at a Polish Institute. And now - nine years and countless shipped devices later the 4th Generation of powerful outdoor computers is available for both, the geologic-scientific and economic industrial sector:
